Palacio de Mariana Pineda hotel keeps a magnificent central courtyard where a pillar stands out. Its lower part was made by Diego de Siloé (16th century) and its upper section comes from 1644, built by the aristocratic family of Los Pisa.
From the central courtyard, you can get access to the different original event rooms and to rooms we offer, most of them with incredible views to La Alhambra and the emblematic Darro River. The mentioned courtyard communicates with the cellar where an ancient well is still kept and was used to take the water from Darro River.
The five rooms we offer at Palacio Mariana Pineda include different styles, but they all have impressive views (4 rooms include views to the Alhambra). The bathrooms are specially decorated with handcrafted tiles, made up with traditional ceramic from Granada of Fajalauza (family of Los Morales), bathtub and whirlpool or jacuzzi.

The Mariana Pineda Hotel is located in a central area formed by narrow cobbled streets. Those arriving by car to the hotel have access permission but must follow the routes of entry enabled in the area “Carrera del Darro – New Plaza – Albaicin”.
It is important not to go through prohibited areas even if written “Except access to hotels.” Each hotel has a path enabled and the Palacio Mariana Pineda Hotel is “Carrera del Darro Hotels – New Plaza – Albaicin”.
Aljibe 16644 is a new restaurant in one of the most emblematic areas of Granada-Bajo Albaycín, next to the Alhambra and Darro River. In this space you can taste the new gastronomic trends in a place full of history which dates from the XVII century.

Once arrived at the Plaza de Mariana Pineda you have to go towards "Plaza Nueva Hotels - Carrera del Darro". At the end of San Matías street turn left again and you will reach a traffic light where you turn have to right. You will find electronic bollards restricting the access . Press the unit and they will be lowed automatically. Go straight and leave the car on the street Pisas, the nearest place where you can unload your luggage.
If you want to get closer to the hotel by car, we recommend that you do it across Carrera del Darro, although it is not possible to park in this street. The output will be in the neighborhood of the Albaicin Chapiz slope towards Murcia Road. Once there, you have go to the Campus de la Cartuja and descend the Avenida Madrid. You will see that it passes in front of the Plaza de Toros and access to Constitution Avenue. A little further on you will see signs of Parking Triunfo with which we have an agreement.
Taxis have a special permit to bring you from anywhere in the city so it is important to ask the driver the ticket or receipt . Then let us know and leave the receipt at the reception. It is important because we must inform the local police about the access of the taxis. Taxis are only deducted to clients who have left the car in one of the car parks with which we have agreements.
